sentinel-5p-l1-ra-bd1-nrti·dataset
Air-monitoring satellite raw light, UV band 1 (Copernicus)
Sentinel-5P Level 1 Radiance Band 1 (NRTI)
atmosphere ESA ESA Copernicus active
In plain English
What it measures. The raw spectrum of light from Earth captured in spectral band 1, the ultraviolet end. These are calibrated brightness readings, not finished pollution maps.
How it's made. Recorded by the TROPOMI instrument on ESA Copernicus's Sentinel-5P satellite and delivered as Level-1 data in near-real-time, within hours of observation.
How & where you'd use it. A low-level input that feeds the algorithms producing air-quality and atmospheric products such as ozone and aerosol measurements; not directly usable on its own.

Coverage & cadence
- Time span2018-04-30 → ongoing
- Spatial extent-180, -90, 180, 90
What you can do with it
- Map air pollutants — NO₂, aerosols, ozone
- Track greenhouse gases and Earth's energy budget
- Feed weather and air-quality analysis
Official description
