How it's made. Derived from ESA Copernicus' Sentinel-3 satellites as a Level-2 Synergy product designed to continue the long-running SPOT VEGETATION record at 1 km resolution.

How & where you'd use it. Tracks crop and forest health, growing seasons, and drought, and extends decades of vegetation monitoring for consistent trend analysis.

Official description

This Collection provides the Sentinel-3 Synergy Level-2 10-Day Surface Reflectance and NDVI products, which are SPOT VEGETATION Continuity Products similar to those obtained from the VEGETATION instrument onboard the SPOT-4 and SPOT-5 satellites.
