Green ground cover, 300m detail (Copernicus, to 2026)

CLMS FCOVER Global 300m 10-daily V1
biosphere ESA ESA Copernicus COGNetCDF
In plain English

What it measures. Measures what portion of the land surface is covered by green vegetation, viewed from above. Higher values mean denser plant cover.

How it's made. Made by ESA Copernicus from the PROBA-V satellite, with an estimate every ten days at roughly 300-metre detail and near real time.

How & where you'd use it. Helps track vegetation density, land condition and drought, and supports environmental modelling. This version spans January 2014 through 2026.
