Global vegetation greenness, current (Copernicus)
CLMS NDVI Global 1km 10-daily V3
biosphere ESA ESA Copernicus COGNetCDF
In plain English
What it measures. Shows the greenness of vegetation worldwide every ten days, indicating how healthy and dense plant cover is. This version provides the ongoing, up-to-date record.
How it's made. Built by ESA Copernicus from SPOT-VEGETATION and PROBA-V satellite observations at roughly 1-kilometer resolution.
How & where you'd use it. A go-to layer for monitoring crop and pasture conditions, drought onset, and the changing seasons of natural vegetation across the globe.
